You clicked a link on an image?

    *YES*!

    In THIS image https://i.ibb.co/LXtfG3Kk/Image-26-08-2023-at-10-09.jpg

The lowest three items in a blue font are LIVE links! (Using Safari)

    No, it is am image.

Some tools will do automatic OCR, though, to try to read it. Sounds like >>> whatever tool you used had a failure in that.

Using Shottr I had it look at a rectangle and it got this:

All I do is hover my cursor over the blue font item(s) and it turns into
an active link. This only happens with Safari, not Firefox or Chrome.

Not even loading for me right now. But it is still OCR. Odd it errored like that.

Can you please explain the 'jumble' shown in your post at the left side?

Rectangular selection from the image. This is just a mock up of such a selection but gives the idea:

The OCR just "saw" what I selected (the darker rectangle).

    Ah! NOW I understand!

Btw, the links in that darker part of your image STILL 'work' for me.

    VERY clever tech! ;-)
