Not that I don't like the WWIV screen that is displayed when you
initially connect to my system, but I really have a lot of welcome
screens that I'd like to have used instead.
I've checked the wiki, and scoured the WWIV, MENUS, and GFILES section
in my installation, can't seem to find that so I know what the menu structure is for changing it.
Where can I find that picture/screen?

I see my welcome.ans and logon.ans in my \gfiles folder

These are in the GFILES directory.
WWIV will look for files matching "welcome.*". If it finds "welcome.0",
it will
look for "welcome.1", "welcome.2", etc. then it will randomly display
one. If
it doesn't find "welcome.0", it will look for "welcome.ans" or "welcome.asc".
This is what I remember happens. If you look in bbs/lilo.cpp, it is in GetAnsiStatusAndShowWelcomeScreen().
Good luck! :)
