There used to be little adapter that would take two inputs.. a barrel
jack and a micro USB.. but with the USB-C they use just the one
somehow.. at least I think. There may be ones with USB-C and a barrel jack... but I know for sure at least one person makes one with internal circuitry to give you both.

Interesting... I'll have to look into that. Have been wondering is there was a way to use a laptop charger as the modern ones have the stangard 19v and a 5v rail but still all DC. whereas the C64 requires the 9VAC for the clock.
IN all actualty, I'm certain that I have a 9VAC transformer and several 5VDC supplies. I could easily build up my own complete with crobar for OVP.
