for work. As soon as I retire, that space is going to be reclaimed for
MY needs. T minue 165 Days and counting.

That being said, one of my first tasks once the office space is clean
and I have more bench space in the garage, is to build up a couple of
power supplies for my C64's. Only one right now, and a Carlsen 'saver'
just in case, but I wantr to be able to have more than one online at a time.
Heck, I may just break down and buy a couple of Ray Carlsen P64's just
    to prep.
Wow! So, you have like 6 months left before you retire? Sounds exciting! Any travel plans (not that you don't ever travel)?

I can't say that we have any immediate plans, perhaps a quick roadtrip back down to Lone Pine or Death Valley.

Will really depend on my bonus in October and my own fears of lack of income. Clearly will be visiting my Son and his bride in Montana in the spring.

I'm looking at Montana as well to visit my daughter and her significant other. Interestingly her partner has the duties of closing up all of the park cabins for winter. They even have a fire tower that you can stay in. Imagine waking up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. Hopefully the facilites are up top and not downstairs.... Kind of like staying in a lighthouse? Also Bryce Canyon New Mexico is on the bucket list.... not to mention Scotland. So many places.... too little time ;) Enjoy!

When will you be in Montana?

The Fire Lookouts are pretty cool. I've been in a couple and they usually have some sort of facility, sometimes a meager out house, but it's better than nothing.

I haven't been to Bryce yet, but did make it to the Gila National Monument to see the caves. you probably saw a bunch of FB pics from one of our road trips to NM & AZ.

Yeah! Nice to see the scenery. My dad retired in Sierra Vista AZ in 1961 and I used to go out and visit. He loved to hike. I know lots of places starting with Nogales to Bizbee up to Wonderland of Rocks and have made the trip driving through Tucson, Phoenix, Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon up to the Grand Canyon. My dad hiked the Canyon multiple times into his 80s. I think walking kept him alive. He would go into the desert with his watercolors daily. My girls got hooked on the desert and both hang out at Joshua Tree alot since they do yoga, massage etc. I'm still an Eastcoaster however. Always liked the ocean and beaches.
