I've been tinkering with some old dialup equipment and have been able to sucessfully connect at CONNECT 50666/ARQ/V90/LAPM/V42BIS.
I've had friends test externally and they're reporting 45k ish speeds
which for voip is not bad. Not sure how stable though.
Can you tell us aboot your service and setup?

Star of the show is the AS5300 that provides the modem pool. Locally fed
by an IAD2432-24fxs via T1 connection. For External VOIP dial in I have
a freepbx machine with a Sangoma A102 dual port T1 card that routes the
SIP calls.

Ah that's some awesome hw. Who is your sip trunk through?
What's your modem number? I'll give it a call to see what speeds I get.

I'm waiting on parts to quiet the thing down before i leave it on 24/7.
I'll let ya know when its online full time.
Are you using an emulated T1 these days? I didn't think Verizon or anyoneoffered them anymore.
