Hey all, curious if anyone is running DOVEnet on WWIV? I'd love to get it but wasn't sure if WWIV supports QWK networks and or if DOVE has an FTN instance?

Hey all, curious if anyone is running DOVEnet on WWIV? I'd love to get

I would love for 1 or 2 meaningful updates happen in the next 6-9 months. I know the two or three people who help code this project have busy lives.

I think QWK networking support would be a positive move.

I did it on Virtual Advanced BBS many years ago with a program created by Steve Winn using a QWK to REP file tossing routine. Synch people were mystified by a Virtual Advanced BBS participating in DoveNet. Is it still exclusively QWK or is there an FTN option? Consult the Synch Wiki

I can'tremember and not even sure the system is still up that was gating

My Synchronet system could probably gate it to someone else.

Yes, any Synch BBS could do it since they have both QWK and FTN. Pharcyde has been gating Dovenet to me for many years now.

While we're asking if this can be done, we should explore whether it SHOULD be done ;).

Maybe it's just me that is tired of those three guys that respond negatively to everything.
