I have found room for WWIV on a Win98 machine and I'm hoping to get back at it.

I hope everyone is still here.

    That's awesome!

Are you planning on resurrecting an OG 4.2x?

I'm holding at windows 10 x86 for now, but may be moving to linux in the future.

I tried that a few years ago and couldn't install it with the hardware I had. I think Weatherman has ECom Station flavor which works for him.

Excuse my bad memory, what is OG 4.2?
I currently have Synchronet running on Debian. My main mail hub is Mystic running on Windows 10. :-)

Sorry, Mick. I've been around my offspring.

OG = Original Gangster. ie WWIV Pre 4.30.
That would really be the best version for running on Windows 9x.
    IMHO.

    Oh I see. :-)

I've been trying to get Barren Realms Elite running here on WWIV Win98 and it's become an impossible task. I did do it a few years ago, but nope, not this time. :-)
It's weird having a board with no doors.

Indeed. That's why I'm still running Windows.

Depending on what build you are using, you may need to visit your temp folder prameters.

Yes, eComStation works great for DOS/classic WWIV in a VM running in ESXi.

I think I still have Ray Gwinn's driver somewhere.

I'm still using Ray Gwinn's drivers on eComStation for my nodes. Works perfect, even virtual.

Yes I have but I guess I'll keep hacking away at it. In the meantime, I have it running in gamesrv. Its not running in a 'team' yet but HEY. :-)

A few years ago, he was pleasantly suprised when I mentioned that I am still using his SIO drivers for my BBS nodes - virtualized in ESXi.
