From Patch #1@142.Wwivnet@11:1/101 to All on Sun Mar 9 22:28:50 2025

I made a backup of my entire HD back when I could and was able to transfer it to digital media.

The problem that I have is, with the help of DOSBox I can run the older BBS, but I cannot remember what the system password was set to.

It's been over 20 years now.

I remember once when I was hacked that the person obtained access to the Command Prompt and used a text editor to load up a file which they were able to get the password from. Does anyone remember where that info is stored?

if you use list.com you likely can see the system password in config.dat

Holy cow is that application still around and will it work on modern Windows systems?

If I did an internet search for it I'd spend all night looking for it. Can you link me where that resides, please?
