    Help!! I'm trying to launch a chain from a login.bas script, and can't seem to get it to launch under Ubuntu 24.04, WWIV 5.9:

    in WWIV.INI:
    ------

    LOGON_CMD = @basic:logon.bas

    ------

    in logon.bas:
    -------

    import "@wwiv"
    import "@wwiv.io"
    import "@wwiv.os"

    wwiv.command("RunDoorNumber 1")

    ------
    And it won't launch. I can get basic scripts to run when I drop them in. I've verified the door runs, and that is the correct ID. I'm stumped! Any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong? I know I don't need all those imports, but just left them in for testing.

    J0hnny,

    Apam had a script for that some time ago to run his news.bas script, as well as his interBBS one-liner (like Mystics) as well. I know you're on the right track I just can't find my old The Ruins WWIV backup from 2021. It was all about syntax. I know you've likely delved in into wwivconfig and checked out the scripting setting options that appear new compared to the last version I ran?
