Since I am restricted in where I can cnnect to the bbs (in bed mostly), I've noticed that the //sysop memu is missing the User Editor command. I was hoping to be able to validate new users using this instead of SSH'ing to the computer and using wwivconfig for it.

Is there something that I need to configur in order to have this option?

You can use the menu command "ValidateUser", I don't recall if it's on a menu currently but you can add it to the //sysop menu if it's not already there, you can do the same things to validate a user.

You should be able to use //! from the main WWIV menu to validate users.

You can still autovalidate //! or /! can't remember which. Just have to know the user number of the user you want to modify the access of.
