I upgraded to the latest version of Networkb.exe yet when I run it, I get
an error message i.e., "Networkb.exe is not a valid Win32 application". My OS is WinXP Pro.
The hub here is running Windows 2008 server 32-bit as a VM. I'm not
sure why the latest networkb.exe is reporting it isn't a valid win32 application. You need to be running a 32-bit OS, but outside of that,
it should work.
The date on my Networkb.exe is 1/23/2022. Granted, it is not the latest version since I have a unique combination here with classic WWIV and WWIVTOSS.Yeah that is the version of what I tried. I think the box is 16bit so I will migrate to a 32 bit machine to try it out. I have my VADV BBS running on that machine without issue. Lots of good retirement projects :)

Could it be the need for a later version of the VC++ Redist?
Yes, I'm almost certain it needs to be 32-bit to work. That's why I hadAren't you running WWIV 4.24 on an OS2 platform i.e., ECom Station?
to keep my Windows Server 2008 VM on 32-bit.

For the BBS nodes, yes. They map a drive to my Windows 2008 32-bit VMKewl!
that runs all the D'Bridge, networkb, etc. Basically all hub operations
are on a different VM.
