I'm working on an Ubuntu 26.04.X baseline, as that seems to be easier to work the doors and such. There's still a lot of work to do, but I'll keep you apprised.

I'm curious as well...I have no Linux experience whatsoever. I have an easy distro on my laptop with a dual boot to play with. The doors seem to be a challenge...

I'm hoping to scale a "rundoor.sh" script that will take case statements to run the doors, e.g., "/opt/wwiv/chains/rundoor.sh TW2002 %N" and such. The script spawns DOSEMU, sets up the environment, and returns. I've got several working so far (TradeWars, LORD, etc.) but working on others. As soon as I have something repeatable, I'll document and can it.

Maybe I can work with Rushfan and others to make it seamless for initial installation, I hope! :)
