I want some tex-mex, some bbq and see if Texas is overrated.

Julie and I were in the French Quarter part of New Orleans last October and had a BLAST! but met up with her 1/2 brother while there who had just arrived from AU via Lafayete ? TX and he was raving about the BBQ there.
New Oreleans is an amazing 'adventure' that one really must take in at least once in life. While I was a lot younger the first time I visited, pre Katrina, the most amazing experiences were the foods. Blown away!
This last visit mede me realize that I am now WAY too old foor Burmon Street - BUT - I'd go back in a heartbeat.
