Well I just spent five days in the LA suburbs in Agoura Hills. Wow, I have a new grandson (the first) and the new parents are at his mercy :O Anyhow, they have a nice place just 20 minutes North of Malibu. And the car culture still exists and drivers are crazy but... I can get in and out of Boston so, next time I'll rent my own car ;)

Understood! But this won't be the only time I come out. I also have spoken to my other daughter about a Montana visit. My California In-Laws have rented a house here on the cape in September. They originally grew up in Boston so they know the area. It will be great to see my grandson. They also offered a room for me when I come out to California again so I'm not spending $1500.00 for the Hilton :O
