Good lord, I never seen a technology being shoved down our throats like this. It's gotten to the point of utter ridiculousness. As a friend of mine said recently, "If you haven't figured out this is nothing more than a way to enrich the tech bros at the expense of everyone else, then you are blind!"

Automation and AI was supposed to make all our "lives easier and give us more time for leisure". Yeah, right. All it does is make 0.005% even richer while the other 99.995% of us suffer even more.

I canceled Microsoft Office for MS force feeding AI on people and making it harder to get the no-ai edition of Office.
Im worried about the loss of drinking water.
I am worried about the energy grid.
Make it 5x the cost for companies to use water to cool AI data centers.
Or make it where they have to use treated sewage grey water to cool data centers.

Yep! It's a "devine" plan to make $$$. I had a Subaru phone app to start my car, it no longer works. Why? because they upgraded their app no backwards compatible with my phone OS so... I need a new phone. There is nothing wrong with my phone the way it is. This is just a a token of other things similar. I'm putzing with Linux now because the Windows thing is too overwhelming. My wife is a landscape architect and uses Adobe Photoshop. I heard her cursing the other day as her education subscription expired and she is having to download and updated version to draw a property plan. I know she pays for this periodically and never owns it. At least she can deduct it from her business expenses somehow...

I hear that. I'm getting it from work myself.. here take a course on it.. how's the use going with AI. Like stop. A friend of mine is against it saying that AI will dry up all the water for the massive cooling. I looked it up, seems like there is some mixed reaction. I mean, is that even possible? IDK but... one thing for sure, we need to be ready to work under our new overlords.
