We had a power outage about 2:20 am and when I got up I reported it. Turns out that a pickup truck took out a utility pole. This is like the national passtime here on Cape Cod. Drive around drinking miniatures, throw them onto people's front yards, pass out and hit a utility pole! WTF?

Oh, to be young again! Didn't spend much time out there in the winter. The family of a friend had a place in Pocasset that we "escaped to" when so inclined (usually during Christmas or spring breaks).

This place is kind of like Ocean City is to Marylanders. It's like Mayberry in the winter yet come summer, the population increases 75% They are starting to build new bridges i.e., a bridge next to the existing Bourne bridge and a bridge next to the existing Sagamore. When these bridges are built, they will repair the original ones. The locals do not like it. We kind of go into hiding in the summer.
