I dont think I can handle fasting. My body cant handle that.
That's what most people think. When you are into between 12-18 hours (everyone is different, you've used up your glycogen in your liver and your metabolism "flips a switch" by starting to burn fat; you start creating ketones for fuel. You stop becoming hungry, have more energy and, you become euphoric. I will be 60 hours into my fast in about an hour. I was 157 lbs two days ago and I was 145 lbs last night before bed. I will break fast at 8am with a big cup of beef bone broth so as to not spike insulin. In other words as I keep breaking fast, I will continue to be into ketosis....
