It's not indigenous to just here... It's pervasive everywhere. There is this sort of national... perhaps global apathy going on. Am I projecting? Yet I find that playing some competitive door games in the morning is good therapy!

The silence on the subs is so deafening nowadays.

For my part I usually post when I'm working on projects - at the moment I don't have a great deal of time to work on projects so I am pretty quiet on the BBSes, too.

I have, however, pulled an old WinXP laptop out of the cupboard this week so I may start yapping again. If rants about trying to use "too old to be useful, too young to be cool" computers on the modern Internet is your cup of tea then you may be in luck!

The national mood is definitely dark, for sure. I try to do my best to smile and at least engage folks in friendly banter - but I am finding that the dark cloud is very hard to break nowadays.
