I am thinking of a visit to Manchester to see an indie band play. Yes, its going to be an expensive trip. 1300 usd.

October 1 fly to London
October 2 take train to Manchester
Arrive 10:30am, border force and stuff should take around 12:00pm. Take the underground to Euston station
Euston to Manchester, around 330pm.

Get to downtown manchester, take the bus to hotel in Salford.

October 3

Imperial War Museum North
Ryland Library

October 4

Science and industry museum
Canal Street

October 5

Visiting either Liverpool or Sheffield for a day

October 6

Witworth Museum
See the indie band play

October 7
Take train to London

(that day and the next are open)

October 9th
Fly back to Los Angeles

What's making you think of visiting Sheffield? I have only been a couple of times, once for work and once for my son's sport so we only really saw the inside of hotels, restaurants and (in one case) a sports centre.

I was thinking of someplace different, but if I want different I should consider Blackpool.
