    could we bring RIP back into WWIV? I think Syncterm does rip 1.54 compatiblity.

    I've used RipTerm under DosBox and it works quite well...

    Somewhere in my files, I have the fossil patch for 4.24 which is probably 5.0 without the RIP files. I am still running Virtual Advanced BBS which still has the RIP files built in and sometimes I log into it with RipTerm to see it work.
