Is there any roadmap for a 2026 edition?

Simple and practical goals to make the program better and not canibalize excessive time of the maintainers?

not a roadmap, but areas that i plan to work on in 2026:

    1) file transfer protocol rework - i am not sure if upload/download functions still work properly using X/Y/Zmodem, etc, but this appears to be a bug that bites us in a lot of areas (not just in the Transfer section). this is critical for the QWK messaging for example, and in message upload/download, as well as for the File section.

    2) down in the weeds work on network sub subscribing/unsubscribing, autosend foundations, blah.

    3) file transfer area rework - not a big priority for me, but for completeness, WWIV has to have a working file transfer area.

    4) WWIV-web interface - not necessary, but would be fun to have, or even just a JSTerm like thing. or a package WWIV sysops can just install and then have their BBS accessible via a web browser easily.

Such as auditing the protocols with the various functions?

Yea, windows and linux should have some autosend type features.

LFN support? Maybe people can toggle if they want lfn or not.

    Like synchronet as an example?
