How did that ANSI come through for other people?

I had to use the load message from a file feature. Probably not doable as a regular user? Haven't experimented with that. It'd be cool if it let people upload files to be loaded as messages.

It came through perfectly over here. Nice to see some ANSI!

It worked great (seeing the ANSI) however how did you get the load message to work? I don't see that feature on my menu's for version 5.0. I'll have to dig deeper. It would be nice to be able to setup as an event also, but even loading from a file would be fine (albeit more manual).

So I found the //LOAD feature off my main menu, but once loaded how do I post it? I didn't see that option ....

I don't remember if we removed //UPLOAD (for regular users).
//LOAD is only for Sysops/Co-Sysops IIRC because you can load from anywhere on your disk paths.

Once you've //LOADed or //UPLOADed a file, you can P)ost it as a message anywhere, usually the current Sub. WWIV will probably prompt you if you'd like to edit the message before posting.

I have the option to (L)oad a file while reading messages, at the "(Read X of Y) : " prompt.

Then once it's loaded, you hit P to post.

Ok.. I think we have a bug in uploading files to the BBS. Can't trace it yet, but it's a suspicion. Have to investigate this further.
