    I'm just curious how you feel about putting a loved one in a nursing home? I feel it's inhumane. I've been living in one for a little over a year now,
    just watching people die, people not able to care for themselves, being shut in, nobody really wanting to help transition out and improve their life to be on their own again... I'm only 48 and I feel being in such a place like this is horrifying to know that people that are elderly are stuck in places like this all over the place... Be careful folks, when you lose someone and their placed in places like this, they lose their connection to the world, which is one of millon reasons why I'm just getting out and moving with my wife in a couple weeks on our own regardless.

    When it is time that they need help, you must do it.

    That is unless you have limitless time, staff and resources to provide home care.

    And yes cr1mson, they will die. Everyone does, and if you are in their world you need to be a witness to them in their need.

    EOL (End Of Life) stuff doesn't have to be joyless. Somehow we let it become so.

    Some really emotional times are when they get told their death is coming soon, when the Hospice people start attending to them, and the last period as they start the dying process.

    You need to study these areas and be ready to help people, as we do not escape it.
