  • Lost alerts

    I am puzzled. I have a Motorola G8(Pwr) phone that does not alert or
    vibrate when it receives a text. It does alert on, for instance, WA but
    not for texts although I think it used to. It is four years old and on GiffGaff. It does show a spot on the top left of the screen when a text
    comes in.
    With the same SIM in my previous phone (Huawei P8Lite) it did alert and vibrate for texts.

    Anyone got any ideas? I have gone through every setting and at app level
    but I cannot find anything that could affect it.

    Tried changing to a different sound?

    Settings/Sound&Vibration/SoundPatterns/Notification

    Yes, but its worth another try after all of the other changes!
