• Which mobile providers still offer 2G calls?

I have a phone that supports 4G but only on data, so it's basically
useless on calls, at least this is what the operator at Spusu told me.

I can make calls and receive texts but apparently nobody can get through
to me. The caller gets a message that I am not reachable and they can't
even leave a voicemail message. Spusu uses some sort of virtual
voicemail service that can't be switched on or off like other providers.

In any case there's no point me staying with Spusu.

I am thinking of buying fixed broadband, so I was thinking of moving to
a provider for infrequent calls only, but it has to natively support 2G
    calls.

I checked with Smarty and my phone is not compatible with them. Not sure
about 1p Mobile as it is not very clear from their website.

Yes, at one point I'll have to buy a better phone but not right now.

    Thanks in advance.

By a new phone. Fall back to 2G is going to be increasingly restricted.
