• Backhaul frequencies

Does anyone know what frequency band the TP-Link Deco M4 AC1200 mesh
system uses for backhaul? I have read both 2.4 and 5 but does the 5GHz
use the broadcast band or the 100-140 channel numbers - or even 6GHz?

According to the spec on their webpage, It's not 6GHz capable, so it
won't be that, it has the ability to use wired backhaul, which would
leave both 2.4 and 5GHz bands fully available for clients.

As is has ~800Mbps bandwidth on 5GHz, vs ~300Mbps on 2.4GHz, I presume
it will want to use 5GHz for backhaul if not using wired?

It only claims to have one radio per band, so the frequency it will use
for backhaul will be the same as for the SSID(s) on 5GHz band.
