Is anyone out there having problems receiving email from ntlworld.com or virginmedia.com this morning?

I can send on any ntl or vm address to a gmail address and it works, but replying to the sending address from gmail just disappears. I am running
on POP3 and have decades for the better part of two decades without issue.

All of my email addresses (and usenet) run through Thunderbird. I have
made no changes to any account this year AFAICR.

    Downdetector shows no problems

If we were, would we be likely to know about it?

Well you would if you use such as T'Bird as it comes up with an unable
to make contact type of message.

I have also been on VM webmail and any email address that I enter comes
up as cannot be verified and invites me to change my password -
passwords that I have used for well over a decade.

BUT a gmail address also on T'Bird works perfectly with an ntlworld
address when sent from T'Bird but a reply from the gmail address to the ntlworld address just disappears.

    help?

I thought you were saying you weren't receiving emails sent by
    ntl/virgin users ...

No, sorry. I am a VM user with ntlworld addresses but not receiving any incoming.

Curiously it does seem to work on my tablet and phone on the same B/B feed.

    Hmmmm........
