    the UK, one simple option is to use my web gateway at https://newsgrouper.org One or two Android users have told me they find it preferable to the other
    news clients available there. It's only an option outside the UK because
    the unfortunately-broad requirements of the UK's Online Safety Act make it impractical for me to serve users in the UK.

    The site is readily available for me in the uk on Windows using
    Firefox with its inbuilt VPN (defaulting to Germany). Not tried it on
    Android but should work as Firefox for Android has an inbuilt VPN too.
