• Czechia vs Denmark

Does anyone know the best way to watch Czechia vs Denmark on Tuesday
evening? BBC Three refers to a World Cup play-off final (but I suspect
they may show Sweden vs Poland). I don't mind paying (per view) but I
don't want to buy a subscription.

Do you have Amazon Prime (maybe for deliveries)?

My EPG is showing for BBC3 on the 31st at 2000:
"Match of the Day Wales: Wales v Northern Ireland. Huw Morgan presents coverage as Wales face Northern Ireland in an international.
It adds "Coverage of a World Cup qualifying play-off final"

    Apparently confirmed by <https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m002v2f2>

Looks like it's ESPN who is showing the Czechia v Denmark match.

I wonder why they are showing a friendly rather than a World Cup
    match.

Thanks. Is it free or $79.99 per event or somewhere between?

Sorry, no idea. I don't have a subscription to anything.

Not sure which match you are referring to but it is quite common for BBC 'Nations' to show matches featuring their home team which might be a
    friendly.

I was referring to Wales vs Northern Ireland. This is shown on BBC One
Wales and BBC One Northern Ireland - also BBC Three. BBC One
elsewhere is showing Eastenders. This fits in with the 'Nations' part
of your theory but I still wonder why BBC Three is not showing a World
Cup game assuming the BBC has the rights (which they appear to have).

Thanks. This certainly seems the best option and they are offering me
a free trial of Amazon Prime video. Now it remains for us to win
against Czech Republic. My Danish cousin always refers to a football
match as a 'fight'. I assume this occurs in translation.

I often watch other BBC regions, ooops Nations, on iPlayer - usually to
    avoid BBC Scotland opt outs.

I never look at BBC Three - do they do opt outs? And do they show sport?
I think the rights to show sports could be limited to particular regions.

Yes - I am known to have done this also.

No and yes respectively (see my earlier post). I don't see how World
Cup rights (which is what I was referring to) can vary by region as
FIFA is unlikely to have engaged in four different negotiations
(though I wonder about BBC Northern Ireland which can be received in
    parts of the Republic).

I am sure that if someone is willing to pay more for exclusive rights in
one area then they will agree to it.

It has happened with the Olympics.

So could STV do a separate deal to show the World Cup in Scotland?
This would mean no BBC coverage. It would be relatively easy to
exclude games from BBC One (Scotland) but it would prevent the BBC
showing any matches on BBC Two, Three or Four as these are common to
    the whole UK.

In the US would each State negotiate its own deal with FIFA?
