    There is an article on PICKWICK in the latest issue of Inside the Wire,
    the NSIST newsletter.

    It was the postwar British secure communications (COMSEC) system, it
    required good quality lines so they used some BBC Outside Broadcast
    circuits (and paid the BBC for their use).
