    Well that was an interesting day! Although it seems likely that a lot
    more time will be lost to the weather on days 2 to 5, a result still
    seems likely.

    I rather suspect that Shoaib Bashir may not get to bowl a single over in
    the match. Things could easily have gone every differently had Brook
    been caught on 8 or if the two umpire's call LBWs in the NZ innings had
    gone against England.

    If England can get Phillips out quickly tomorrow, then they ought to get
    a useful first innings lead. If not, then there might not be much in it.
