England don't often beat Australia at any level, so this was a win to
savour. The final should be a great game.

If the unthinkable was to happen, you know, Eng winning a WC, then the question arises... Are their players too young to accept titles & awards

Probably. I see that they will - as expected - have to face India in the Final, who won fairly comfortably what was a very high-scoring match.

Yeah, I saw bits of it. And as per my recent post on the E&W U19... You
can tell that they've all been to non-State schools. All their batters
bat 'classically', which, I'd opine would make them easier to set fields
to than the Whirling Dervishes that are so prominent today.

India beating minnow Afghanistan in semis was a given. No big deal.

England beating Australia in the semis is much more creditable.

Hoping for a thrilling U19 final.

Suryavanshi will probably play for the men's senior team soon, and
with still 4 years of age group cricket for him to play he might see

I hadn't realised that the final would be today, and had expected it to
be at the weekend, so didn't watch any of it. 175 runs off 80 balls is
pretty phenomenal. Congrats to him and to India. Falconer's innings for England was a very good effort considering the circumstances.

15 sixes in his 175 score is unbelievable in U19 World Cup FINALS.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a 14-year-old prodigy playing for Rajasthan Royals
in IPL 2025, made headlines by becoming the youngest centurion in T20
history with a 101 off 38 balls against Gujarat Titans
. In his debut season (2025), he scored 252 runs in 7 innings at a
strike rate over 200, including a 34-run knock on debut.

Just a matter of time before he will play for India.

Vaibhav has the TALENT to become another Kohli.
