• I think It's time for England to MOVE ON from Coach McCullum

England experimented with McCullum for a few years already but
unfortunately the results are slightly above AVERAGE.

I think England would be better off moving on from McCullum as coach.

If England can't even be competitive vs Australia without Cummins and Hazlewood in the team, it's in really bad shape.

    England really NEEDS FRESH IDEAS.

They were good for the first year or two, but then the other sides wised up.

I suspect Stokes wouldn't want to continue as captain without McCullum,
and ATM England don't really have a good alternative as captain. Brook
is now vice-captain, but if anything he seems likely to be even more
attacking than Stokes, and he doesn't seem to be as intelligent.

It was the last session under the lights on day 2 and all those dropped catches that really did for us. If they'd held all their catches, the
first innings deficit would almost ceertainly have been far smaller, and England would have been able to bat for much longer in daylight on day
    3. A lot of their players had never played with a pnk ball before, and
none of them had anywhere near as much experience with it as most of the Australian side, so I think they really should have had a day-night
practice match with it. Net practice with it may be adequate for batting
and bowling, but not for fielding. I know the pitch an Canberra would
have been very different from the Gabba, but it would have been better
    than nothing.

Or possibly some of the old ideas that they've discarded.
