Just a pity that she didn't think to record her mother begging her to
help her die.
However I think this is the correct way, although traumatic. Someone who
kills another person should be thoroughly investigated - and should know
that they will be investigated - and then, if the investigation shows
that they were acting in mercy, the charges should be withdrawn.
