If so - and I would love to see proper scientific studies to confirm
their theory - the evidence seems clear that the diet God prescribed in
Eden is, indeed, the ideal diet. Meat-eating, allowed after the Flood,
was a less-than ideal provision for the changed post-Diluvian world.
There's a huge amount of data showing that plant-based diets are good
for people. I have no idea why the DM chose this particular one that has
a tiny sample size and only looked over a short timescale.
I'm a pescatorian, but I take a B12 supplement.Which seems a little like gilding the lily - unless, of course, you were advised by your doctor to take the supplement.

Because the changes resulting from the Flood meant that the pre-Flood
diet was no longer available.

A bit silly to confuse spiritual status with physical health. If you
truly believe that what goes into the stomach is not important, I'm sure
I could find a suitable quantity of arsenic or rat poison for you to
ingest.
Or do you suddenly realise the utter stupidity of your comment?

As John's comment - which I read after replying to yours - shows, many Christians are determined meat-eaters and will resort to the most
ridiculous arguments to defend their indulgence in dead animals.
You find the same desperation in smokers or drinkers, who grasp at any
straw to avoid facing up to the harm done by smoking or drinking.

However the vegan diet lacks vitamin B12, which is why I am a
vegetarian, not a vegan, as dairy products supply that vitamin.
I take a prescription drug that reduces B12 absorption.
IT ISN'T WRONG FOR CHRISTIANS TO EAT MEAT.-a If you choose to be
vegetarian that's fine, it's your personal choice. I take yours and GB's point that it is probably more healthy, but people still live to a ripe
old age even if they're rampant meat eaters.
This may come as a shock to you, but cows, lambx, chickens are generally
not reared to be fluffy pets, they're reared so we can eat them.
The average Christian will not be judged for eating meat, but you
heavily hint above that they shouldn't.
Out of curiosity, if I suddenly decided that I wanted to be an
adventist, but still chose to eat meat, would I be condemned for doing so?
65 years old and drinking hasn't caused me any harm (hic) Paul didn't condemn the Corinthians for being drunk, he just said do it at home, notYou are deluded if you claim that drinking hasn't caused you any harm.
at a love feast.
Really, so how long before pre-flood vegetation was available again? I'd guess a year or two at most.
Not at all, the point I was making that it doesn't matter what food youIt doesn't defile you spiritually[1] but it will damage your physical
eat, it doesn't defile you. You seem to have skipped the point of Jesus eating meat, should he not have done so?

Certainly, and there were people who lived to a ripe old age despite
being heavy smokers. I have never understood why such people were an argument in favour of smoking.
As for whether it is wrong or not, I do not think that God approves of people who deliberately and needlessly engage in practices harmful to health. After all, your body is the temple of God ...

And sugar cane farmers grow the stuff so that we can eat it. Does that
make sugar healthy?

They shouldn't if they want a long and healthy life. Why is that so difficult for you to grasp?

It's a lot healthier than a lot of the artificial alternative which manufacturers like to put into our food. The WHO have just released documentation describing it as a potential cause of Cancer!

So when Jesus tucked into that juicy lamb, was he deliberately and needlessly engaging in practices harmful to health?-a Was this wrong of
him to do so?
Was POaul wrong to call those Christians who only eat vegetables weak?

All things in moderation.
Some people walk across the road with their eyes closed. Are you goingThey shouldn't if they want a long and healthy life. Why is that so

Some do some don't, some vegetarians do, some don't.
