Being a slightly disorganized person my library books were due
today.....i tried to renew the books online but i was using a VPN so the library thought i was in South America and would not allow me to renew!!
So i had to go to the library in person....in Manchester ...the big
reference library, as i cycled into Manchester i noticed a heavy police presence. I got to the library and the main entrance was closed...we had
to go round the back. I didnt know what was happening so i ask a lady at
the library desk who looked Iranian! The demo is a "Britain First" demo protesting against immigration.......Such a hot potato that in polite
society such things are not discussed.......perhaps people ought to read
"The Last Castle" by Jack Vance....winner of Hugo awards.....but i digress.....i used to be a blue collar factory worker.....so back in my working days a huge influx of cheap labour would have a detrimental
effect on job availability and wage levels. Or thats how the argument went. Then of course the vexed question of illegal immigration......when i was caught breaking the law(DUI) i was shown no mercy and perhaps some would
say i quite rightly lost everything. No pity or sympathy for
    lawbreakers!! Except illegal immigrants......!!!!!

on the other hand we should be kind and compassionate to people fleeing
war zones and have no choice but to emigrate to the UK illgally....

But if it is true that the vast majority of illegal immigrants are Muslims.....i have no way of knowing......but some people do say
this....if true then this is a negative reflection on the Muslim
theocratic state that cannot even look after its own people,....and
their people have to flee some Muslim "paradise" and come to a secular
state like the UK.......And then we are expected to support these people
for free......while i had to work for 54 years!!!!
Sure Lord Jesus said to look after the least of these......even turn the
other cheek and love ones enemies......!!!!!

All i really know is that i had to work for 54 years....nothing came
free, and if i broke the law they threw the book at me.....Thats how i
was treated.......some people also say that vast majority of illegal immigrants are military age males.....very few women and children,,,,,

but if these illegals enter the EU and then are passed from country to
country and finally get to France who then promptly lets them come to us......noone in the EU seems to be taking a stand......of course the Brexiteers won the argument and we left the EU.....glibly saying we will
just do a deal with the Americans!!!! How did that work out??? Surely
the EU needs to sort this mess out. So if they all come from
Syria,Afghan, etc etc ad nauseum....how can a Muslim say they are the
best of people when they cannot even support their own people?

Enoch Powell wrote a book called "No Easy Answers"......and he was
    right.....i havnt got a clue ....

Ec 9:11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race [is] not to
the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise,
    nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill;
but time and chance happeneth to them all.

By time and chance i happen to be in the middle of a demo in
Mancunian....God have mercy on all of us.....or as Graham Parker and the Rumour so quaintly said.....Hey Lord dont ask me questions.....there
    aint no answer in me!!!

Yes, it is very much one rule for the illegals and another rule for law-abiding citizens (or not quite law-abiding citizens). I really do
not see why illegal immigrants are not treated like criminals when that
    is what they are!

on the other hand we should be kind and compassionate to people fleeing
war zones and have no choice but to emigrate to the UK illgally....

I don't know of a single person faced with that choice. There are people
who have been forced to enter Turkey illegally owing to being caught up
in war zones, but there are no war zones bordering on the UK. Through
the UN we are helping those unfortunates who have fled to Turkey (or
other countries) and that is right. But once they are in Turkey they are
no longer in danger and have no reason to flee from Turkey all the way
across all the countries of Europe so that they can get into Britain
with its soft-touch social services and ridiculous hand-outs to everyone except the workers.

By time and chance i happen to be in the middle of a demo in
    Mancunian.

I doubt it. The demo may have been in the middle of Manchester, but a Mancunian is a person native to that city and I doubt any single
Mancunian had a demo taking place inside him and even more doubt that
you were inside him to witness it.

The ones who were causing you difficulties that day were not immigrants,
they were the extreme Right Wing protesters. Without their presence you
    would have had no problems.

The intermixing of ethnicities we see here is a reflection of the
situation over much of the world. People are simply migrating more than
they used to, and I always notice how these protesters seem to forget
about all the 'Ethnic Brits' (if there is such a thing) that are living abroad! Indeed, historically we didn't just go to other countries, we
invaded them and took them over. That, in order to exploit them.

I remember the 1960s, and how some thought the intermixing is just
what's needed. "What we need is a great big melting pot, big enough to
take the world and all it's got..."

And don't forget, Turkey is largely Muslim so should suit many of the immigrants much better than "Christian" britain!

with its soft-touch social services and ridiculous hand-outs to everyone except the workers.

And that is the reason, and always has been.

Er - would you like to give me top-of-your-head figures for how many of
these Brits living abroad have illegally entered the countries where
they are living? Just round-table figures will do. Otherwise your point
about British people living abroad is just an attempt at flannel,
probably with a red herring wrapped in it.

As for taking over other countries, that was the ethos of the time. We
took them over because we were stronger, but they would have taken us
over had the power balance been reversed.

I remember the 1960s, and how some thought the intermixing is just

The trouble always comes when the minority exceeds about 20%. Up to that figure the community can cope and may indeed be enriched culturally or
    even strengthened by the incomers.
