<div>But if it really is not considered a bug anymore, it may not qualify for consideration this event. Regardless, I would encourage everyone who wants this percentage to return to be shown again, to vote for it as a feature request in the wishlist here:</div><div></div><div></div><div>With respect to Issue 3, the percentage is calculated from the voltage. Exactly how this is done depends on your battery config. Checkout for an explanation of the options - it may then be obvious from your settings why this value is so far off.</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>battery percentage app download</div><div></div><div>Download Zip: https://t.co/OjJe07tgtT </div><div></div><div></div><div>One of these should show you the battery level. I would assume either status, energy_now or power_now. Other ones would show you total capacity, design and minimum specs. There are more options under there, but those are the ones that sound like it would show what you would like.</div><div></div><div></div><div>The full steps are:</div><div></div><div>Remove the CMOS battery</div><div></div><div>If you have the setting in BIOS /EFI settings > Config for Disable Built-in Battery , select it</div><div></div><div>Hold the power button off for a good solid 30 seconds to drain capacitors.</div><div></div><div>Replace CMOS battery and reset in BIOS</div><div></div><div></div><div>Then:</div><div></div><div>Turn the notebook computer on and Do Not Charge. Use as normal until it is nearing death and then switch over to frivolous work or throw on an uninteresting video and let the notebook fully die.</div><div></div><div>Charge the notebook overnight.</div><div></div><div>The following day, power on the notebook and remove from charger. Use as normal until the battery dies again, then charge overnight again.</div><div></div><div></div><div>There are Two Batteries that we are discussing, so that may be the cause of confusion.</div><div></div><div>The CMOS battery looks like a small silver disk, like a US quarter dollar coin.</div><div></div><div>This will be pulled, then the button held down to drain the caps, then that small battery put back in. You do not need to replace it with a new one... unless it's bad... You can test it with any voltmeter.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Ok so first i will remove CMOS battery and then main laptop battery . Then hold power button for around 40 seconds to drain capasitors then put CMOS and the main battery then use it until the laptop battery dies and then charger . because if i don't remove main battery i think there will be electric current the caps</div><div></div><div></div><div>Yes, remove the CMOS, hold the power button for 30 seconds. Replace the CMOS battery and perform the BIOS setting if applicable.</div><div></div><div>Then drain the notebook battery completely, then leave it off while it charges completely.</div><div></div><div>I recommend doing this more than once in a row.</div><div></div><div></div><div>For several days now, my Fitbit app shows that I still have 54% charge left even though I have just charged it, while my Sense shows the correct charge 100%, then the charge drops as it should, but the app still shows 54% and that my last sync was made on September 22 at 17.39??? My Sense smartwatch still syncs correctly and the date and time is correct. I have Firmware Version 44.128.5.49. Also SP02 has been strange, showed no values for several days, usually doesn't happen. This problem seems started, after I had problems getting Sense to sync with the app about 10 days ago, the only thing that finally helped after several reboots of my Google Pixel 4 mobile, was to remove bluetooth for Sense in the mobile and then approve it again, but the battery life 54%, date and time, is still "frozen" in the app.</div><div></div><div></div><div>My problems with the Fitbit app was finally solved. After I logged out of the Fitbit app I couldn't log in again no matter what I did. I requested a new password, but the same, couldn't log in. I couldn't log in to Fitbit on the computer either, but when I tried to change my Fitbit password on the computer instead, I didn't get the usual message, that I used the wrong email or password. The Fitbit website accepted my new password and sent me a verification code and I could log in to Fitbits dashboard. I then tried to log in to the Fitbit app with my new password and it worked and I also got a verification code to my phone. Allt my settings was as before, but I had to approve permissions for several functions again as receive sms, contacts, phone calls etc., no problem, quickly fixed. The remaining percentage of battery life visible in the app is now correct as the sync date and time. Me happy that it finally got solved.</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>I have already done that one, also did several restarts of my phone, nada, then I logged out from Fitbit and now I can't log in again. I restored my password and got me new one, doesn't help, but no problem to log in to Fitbit on my computer though, also interesting, on the dashboard the battery time is correct also syncing date and time. Thank you for your effort, nice of you I contacted Fitbit support on Twitter, see how that goes</div><div></div><div></div><div>So i3status suddenly seems to think my battery is fully charged at 80%. At first I thought maybe my laptop's battery was going, but then I noticed if I run acpi -b when i3status is reporting full at 80%, I receive the following:</div><div></div><div></div><div>I believe that it is telling you that it is as charged as it is going to get. Looking at the last full value versus the design capacity, It would appear that your battery can only store 80% of what it could when it was new (current capacity is 4547/5616). My 2 year old battery is about the same as yours -- around 80% of design capacity.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Re: Battery Life Retrieval- In a few words, that depends on whether you are talking about one specific device or a variety. For Instance, On a system that I use: Start Menu>WindowsSystem>Control Panel>All Control Panel Items>Power Options would drill down to where I would choose Dell Extended Battery Life Options and get a display window popup with a Battery Status Tab including a Bargraph. This is great, but you would have to set-up a remote-control type client which some folks might object to. For instance, the Battery Status Tab is accompanied by a Battery Health Tab within the Battery Meter Popup. From the Battery Health Tab, it might be possible to order a new battery online from Dell ( Using their name from your application ). Now while that may seem unlikely, giving you that authority might be easier for them than it would be for you to set up that level of access to their Windows PC. This might be a bit easier on an Android mobile device, provided that all of the ones you wanted to access had the same firmware levels ( essentially all the same hardware ). It might work until someone upgrades the Android OS or just a specific part of the firmware. Thus I would discourage it unless you have a great amount of time and money to engage in the project.</div><div></div><div></div><div>This method works in v8. However, I am getting inaccurate info using this.</div><div></div><div>Value returned doesnt match the value indicated on windows taskbar battery UI.</div><div></div><div>Does perspective have better support for battery status?</div><div></div><div></div><div>I recently had my hearing aids adjusted to change the order of hearing choices (moved impact to first place) . The audiologist updated the firmware and I had to upgrade the moment app to work with this upgrade.</div><div></div><div>The update displays the battery percent and time left to use the hearing aids which is nice but not necessary.</div><div></div><div>However every time I remove the hearing aids from the charger the left hearing aid shows 0% while the right shows 100 . I have removed the hearing aids , re-downloaded the moment app, hard reboot phone (iphone) , re - paired the hearing aids but it still does the same.</div><div></div><div>The only way to show the correct battery % is to turn off the left hearing aid for about 30 seconds and then restart it again. Then it remains working until I recharge the hearing aids.</div><div></div><div>Anyone else have this problem or know how to undo the firmware update.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I want to thank every one for their reply. I will have my audiologist redo the firmware update when I have a chance in the future.</div><div></div><div>It has never been a problem before I could see the battery percent and have never run out of battery since I usually dont put them on when I am the only one awake in the house and go to bed about 10 hours later.</div><div></div><div>Other than when using the hearing aids while traveling and am on a plane for 6 hours and changing time zone but that has never affected my wydex hearing aids.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Further follow up. When the rep returned from vacation and my audiologist suggested the following to find out the cause of the issue.</div><div></div><div>I have the app on both my ipad and iphone. It is the iphone app where I discovered the problem.</div><div></div><div>I paired the hearing aids with the ipad and there was no issue with the percentages.</div><div></div><div>When I diconnected the ipad and repaired with the iphone the problem re-occured.</div><div></div><div>I had removed the app, reinstalled the app, restored my iphone to factory and problem remains suggesting they have a bug in their iphone app.</div><div></div><div>We will see.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I noticed that the battery percentage of pir sensors is displayed instead of the tile template name (by unchecking the "hide tile template names" option) while on contact sensors the percentage is correctly displayed in a separate div (tile-tertiary).</div><div></div><div></div><div>Just purchased a Spectre x360 convertible 15 and noticed an issue with the battery percentage when i hover over the battery icon in the taskbar. After uplugging the charger when it's fully charged the percentage doesn't drop and stays at 100%. I thought WOW! this has got some good battery life! I then restarted for something and when it came back on the battery percentage said around 93%. So, the battery has been discharging but it's not being reflected in the numeric percentage. It's happened twice now</div><div></div><div> df19127ead</div>
