    A pop-up video of a recent Justin Hayward concert
    has me wondering about the state-of-the-business ..

    He does A-OK at 79 years young ..
    and I don't mean to throw stones at him nor his contemporaries -

    - in Canada < USA > we have Rush filling big venues
    with their lovely and talented German drummer - but basically
    doing a big tribute show ..

    ... tribute shows .. don't get me started - our lovely little
    mid-small town theatres are rife with them ! Arrrgh ..

    ... but business is business - give 'em what they want ..
    I'll carry-on looking for little folk concerts and festivals -
    - where hopefully new young artists will mix with the
    established stalwarts ...

    ps : rip Archie Fisher I'm so glad I finally got to see you
    a few years ago ..

    in the end, the thing that does most of them in is the lack of material,
    which must lead to a bit of boredom - although the grim reaper has a
    part to play in this
