• Guzzi 1200 down.. and up.

Last weekend I left the Energica uncharged after my commute, the plan
being to test its range. I never got round to that and of course forgot
to charge it. So, I took the Guzzi to work - Tuesday was fine but
Wednesday it went "click" instead of "whirr-vroom".

I've just had a look. Luckily nothing serious - when the starter went intermittent a few years ago, I bypassed the relay wiring to the starter solenoid (it's a known fault), and included an inline fuse, having also bypassed the original fuse in the process.

The fuse had popped. Easy fix, bike started, bike stopped, a bit of
faffing to reset a service code that suddenly popped up... and it would
no longer start. It was now showing a red warning triangle and "/!\ SERVICE"

Hmm. I laboriously entered the Secret Code (because diagnostic codes
have to be kept hidden from The Enemy, obviously) and noted the couple
    of marked numbers.

I was just about to despondently put the seat back and wheel it back
into the garage when I noticed that there was a spade terminal hanging
out. Closer inspection showed that the relay extension wires I'd added
had pulled out of the connector block, probably when I was faffing with
the fuse. So, after putting them back and re-taping it, it's back to normal.

    Happy days!

Are you sure this isn't my missing Pegaso in disguise?

It's a bunch of Pegasos strapped together.
