If your mind is boggled, perhaps a brain dump to a data file, send it off to
one of these geeks and get them to design a spreadsheet to sort it out for
    you?

I asked him about this 4 months ago: https://bsky.app/profile/champ.org.uk/post/3lzgdloce522e [1]

    He replied thus:
    https://bsky.app/profile/excelpope.net/post/3lzghcg63mc2b [2]

    [1] "Why weren't you in this, @excelpope.net?
Giving everyone else a chance, yeah? https://www.theregister.com/2025/09/19/uk_excel_champ_crowned/"

[2] "Basically. It's the same as the way the Pope doesn't get involved
in the priest-on-priest wrestling matches... I have to conduct myself
    on a higher plane."

    Well done, that pontiff.

I used to post on a major Excel forum, few years back, which ranked
users by the quality of their answers. I got up to about #20 on the site
but, honestly, the guys above me were mind-blowing. Reading their
responses to queries that I'd written off as impossible was an education.

Plus, Excel has changed a lot in the last few years, and I don't really
use it enough now to keep pace with all the whizzy stuff. I've still got
a sheet I cobbled together a couple of years ago, that transforms a data
set we regularly export to a new format, via a sheet with 30,000 rows x
100 columns of formula, that I haven't got around to converting to work
    with Excel's new functionality.

I'm just a fraud these days, is what I'm saying. I'm like a footballer
from the 60s, fat and sporting a comb-over, saying, "It's a completely different game these days. Look at the goalie, he's not even smoking!"

At least you aren't still running 32 bit Excel. The conversion process
for macros to the 64bit version (PtrSafe etc.) is not as straightforward
as a global find and replace.

I made a career out of switching stuff off and on again.
