I have grown hardy fuchsia for many years without any problem, but this
year has been a disaster for flowers. It seems to have affected all but

Is it the weather, i.e. am I not alone, or do I have to have a closer
look at my plants?
Has fuchsia gall mite reached your area? Are the plants showing any
other sign of damage than just to flowers? <https://www.rhs.org.uk/biodiversity/fuchsia-gall-mite>
You may be right. Genii (the one with the yellow leave and small
red/purple flowers) has shown what might be symptoms for some years. A
general insecticide usually solves the problem, but I don't see any
symptoms on the others.
