• Lean to green house vs conservatory

Just idle thoughts at the moment.

I have an end wall of a garage which could accommodate a lean to structure
to catch the sun and provide warmth and shelter in spring and autumn.

A lean to greenhouse seems to be around -u1k.
A conservatory of equivalent size seems to start at about -u7k.

Conservatories are designed to be part of the living accommodation and are generally UPVC double glazed.

Greenhouses are not, but still provide warmth and shelter.

Has anyone used a lean to greenhouse as a garden sun room?

    Cheers

Although our victorian conservatory would be classed as a conservatory
it is single glassed unheated and although there is a door through from
the house it is not part of the house, we use it around 10 months of the
year, especially on days which are breezy!
