    Has anyone tried this?

    I make A LOT of compost from kitchen waste + gathered
    materials so welcome anything that speeds decomposition.
    Though the thought of paying money for it goes against the
    grain, I made a sacrificial investment of a kilo of
    bokashi bran and will be adding doses of it to the kitchen
    compost caddy.
