    I fancied having a go at ipomea (Morning Glory) again this year the seeds I planted indoors have come up like ... well: like bindweed!

    The trouble is: it's far too cold at night up here (Tyne Valley) to plant them out yet. They're currently in the porch, which does get cooler at night (and roasting during the day).

    Can I snip off the tips of the shoots (which are waving around a foot above their canes looking for the next thing to cling on to)? My thought is that
    that may strengthen the plants, as well as calming them down a bit.

    Yes, another year sow in May!
