Regenerative farming and food. What does it mean?

It's a term used by the smallest farmers and the world's biggest food businesses. But what does 'regenerative agriculture' mean?

Produced and presented by Dan Saladino.

BBC Radio 4 22:15 Saturday 22nd February and online.

If the term is being reported by the BBC it will be just another word
salad made of freshly chopped ecobollox.

I am expecting to experience a 'clean, sustainable' death in the next
    decade.

It does seem surprising how many 'revolutions' agriculture can support in
    one lifetime.

In the past, many small farmers would spread the contents of their bucket-and-chuck-it toilets on their fields.

    Is that 'regenerative farming'?

Is municiple sewage works UV processing the "solids" and getting farmers
to cover their fields with minced up wet-wipe micro-plastic ,
regenerative farming? SAlso stinking out for miles down wind ,for weeks
    ,for good environmental practise.
