You could always take a few cuttings before putting it out, just in
case it doesn't survive.It's quite easy https://tinyurl.com/ydff44w7.
Aha! So that's what I've got! I inherited it but never knew what it was.
Actually I never bothered to find out!
Just looked and ditto! We have a few, 'cos they take from cuttings so easily. But we have never had one flower! Anyone got any tips to get flowers.
Mine flowers every year, but it is very variable. Some years it's just a
few, others there can be many dozens. This year there were only a few
(in December). It didn't start flowering until it was over 80 cm high
and wide, about 10 years ago.
The flowers aren't that interesting, actually, and just make a mess when
they dry up and drop off! You could try a bit of high-potash fertiliser
when you start watering in April. Don't overwater and allow the plant to
dry out between waterings. Stop watering in August. Keep the plant in as strong light as possible all-year round.
