The article says that all those involved escaped serious injury, but the
article is unclear as to whether the pensioner on the mobility scooter is
included in that.
Paywalled.
Is there another source?
Peter.
Here it is (minus the photos and a video + captions):

Cyclists sent flying after pensioner drives mobility scooter into peloton
Dutch rider Paul Vriesman somersaulted into the air but escaped serious
injury at a juniors race in Germany

Young racing cyclists in Germany were sent flying after an elderly woman
drove her mobility scooter into a peloton.
The spectator at the Saarland Trofeo Juniors race rolled her mobility
scooter into the road just as dozens of lycra-clad cyclists sped past a
crowd of onlookers standing on the pavement.
Video footage shows one rider managed to swerve around the scooter, but
Paul Vriesman, a Dutch cyclist, crashed into the side of the mobility
scooter, causing him to somersault into the air and land on the road.
The camera moved away before any further crashes were captured, but
video of the aftermath showed a number of cyclists lying on the ground, writhing in pain.
Reports later said all those involved escaped serious injury.
Mr Vriesman said on social media afterwards: rCLA very nasty looking crash
but it looks like I got away with it relatively well.
rCL[I] didnrCOt get to finish the race while every stage was feeling like a big step forward.rCY
The cyclist, who suffered another crash at the beginning of the season
in the Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne race, said he was rCLlost for words on how something like this can happen. So much hard work and yet another setback.rCY
rCyJunior racing already dangerousrCO
Los Brolin, a cycling commentator who shared the video, urged spectators
to use common sense and stay clear of race paths.
He said: rCLEven a small step onto the road can have serious consequences
at these speeds.
rCLThis was not even the first incident of this kind during the race.
Junior racing is already dangerous enough without spectators making it
even more dangerous.rCY
The race was won by Sindre Orholm-L|+nseth of Norway. The Telegraph has contacted the organisers, the Union Cycliste Internationale, for comment.
SpectatorrCOs carelessness punished
In 2021, a spectator received a criminal conviction after causing a
collision at the Tour de France when she held up a large placard to get noticed on television.
The 31-year-old, whose identity was hidden after receiving abuse,
stepped out in front of the tightly packed peloton and Tony Martin, a
German cyclist, hit her and fell, causing a pile-up and other riders to
swerve into the crowd.
The woman was found to have fled the scene and remained in hiding for
four days before turning herself in, when she was charged with
endangering lives and causing unintentional injuries. She received a
fine of re41,200 (-u1,000) in court.
Impactful victory
Mr VriesmanrCOs collision wasnrCOt the only spectacular crash during a bike race over the weekend.
In Switzerland, Liam Slock of Belgium overtook two rivals on the final
stretch and began to celebrate as he approached the finish line.
However, as he did so, he lost control of his bike and crashed over the
line rCo still in first place.
rCLLuckily the win came with it, otherwise this would probably have been
the fail of the year,rCY he said after the race.
