The whole point about hit-and-runs, surely, is that the "runner" cannot
be identified (except in the lucky circumstance where someone has had
the presence of mind to make a note of a registration mark).

Complaining about the non-arrest of someone who cannot be identified is totally pointless and no-one ought to know that better than those doyens
    of hit-and-runners - cyclists.

    Quite so.

And it doesnrCOt seem to have dawned on road.cc that RLJing by cyclists on
the scale it is just might have something to do with hit-and-runs arising
from vehicle drivers thinking the RLJer was at fault but it isnrCOt worth hanging about just to get blamed, it never being the cyclistsrCO fault for ignoring the law - which is why cyclists tend not to hang about after
colliding with a pedestrian. Sauce for the goose, and all that.
