More than a quarter of Londoners say they are now more likely to cycle following the recent Tube strike disruption.

As large parts of the London Underground were closed for five days at the
start of September, cycling journeys and hire bike use soared with images
of packed cycle lanes making news stories and attracting plenty of
    attention online.

New data from Lime and YouGov, shared with The Standard (link is external)
and the result of a survey of 1,027 Londoners, found that 28 per cent of
people are now more likely to consider cycling in the future.

Note the sensational rCL28%rCL being applied to the very low number (1027) of people questioned - couldnrCOt they find any more than that, especially when considering the trumpeted number of cycle journeys? It seems rather
    pathetic. And winter is comingrCa

Anyway, all the survey did was to assess the likelihood of more people
taking up cycling - but what are the numbers now the strike is over?

Or put it another wayrCa72% of Londoners surveyed said they werenrCOt likely to take up cyclingrCabut thatrCOs not much of a headlinerCa
