    They looked like a couple of dripsrCaIrCOll bet they were:

    A) going too fast for the conditions

    B) watching their front axle.

    It could have been a pedestrian at risk, at least it was only another
    cyclist that got his just desserts.

    A few years back when I was out running, a cyclist passed me on a
    narrow bridge at break-neck speed , also alarming a mother with a push
    chair. The path joined the Union Canal tow path down a ramp. I was
    amused to find him fishing his bike out there a couple of minutes later.

    There are also plenty of blind bends on the canal like the video where
    I've had a lot of near misses on my runs.

    Speed limit is supposed to be 6mph.
